"Meet the Heart Behind the Mission"

Dr. Theresa Vance, Founder & CEO

I am the Author and Founder of "Whoa-Sister-Pause: A Woman's Guide to Transform Your Thinking Using the Fruits of the Spirits." This is a platform that allows successful women to provide housing resources and career opportunities for other women who have suffered from substance abuse/mental health, and sexual/human trafficking.

I received my Doctor of Psychology from the University of Arizona with a scholar
ADP - "Designing a Tailored Rehabilitation and Workforce Development Program to Address Recidivism Among African American Men in Atlanta: A Strategic Reentry and Reintegration Model."

My mission is to empower homeless women and children with the skills, resources, and support they need to overcome their challenges and achieve their goals. I am passionate about mental and social health services and have a strong background in education with a Doctor of Psychology, a Master of Science in Psychology  and a Master of Arts in Human Services from the University of Arizona. I am skilled in team building, communication, conflict resolution, and leadership, and I collaborate with various stakeholders and partners to deliver effective and compassionate services. I am always eager to learn new things and expand my knowledge and expertise in my field.
